Yummy Chocolate Protein “Ice Cream”

Indulge your chocolate cravings with this Yummy Chocolate Protein Ice Cream, a rich, soft-serve treat made entirely from whole, health-promoting foods. For anyone dedicated to a clean eating lifestyle, finding a decadent chocolate dessert that doesn't rely on chalky protein powders or refined sugars is a total game-changer. This recipe is an excellent option for a nutrient-dense post-workout recovery meal or a guilt-free evening dessert.

The secret to the exceptional texture and deep flavor profile of this recipe is the combination of banana, soaked Medjool dates, cocoa powder, and PBfit. While some Ninja Creami recipes can taste chalky when using cottage cheese, this specific chocolate and peanut butter powder combination actually tastes better with a blend of both plain Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Together, they create an incredibly smooth, velvety consistency that mimics premium ice cream while delivering 12 grams of protein per serving to support muscle health and satiety.

Preparing this high-protein dessert is simple, requiring just a quick blend and an overnight freeze in your Ninja Creami pint. Once frozen, spin the mixture on the "Light Ice Cream" setting to achieve a perfect soft-serve texture. The recipe is also highly customizable: you can add an extra tablespoon of PBfit for a stronger peanut butter flavor.

Tips:

1) Add 1 tbsp of Torani’s sugar-free hazelnut syrup to make a hazelnut chocolate version of “ice cream.”

2) Some of these Ninja Creami ice cream recipes can taste chalky when made with cottage cheese instead of Greek or skylr yogurt, but this recipe tastes better with at least some cottage cheese.

3) Feel free to add more PBfit to get more of peanut butter chocolate taste.
