How to Roast Frozen Artichokes

Roasted some frozen artichoke hearts to use in my yummy garlicky pasta recipe!

Last week, I roasted fresh articles and garlic cloves for St. Patrick's Day. It was delicious, but a lot of work. So I tried roasting frozen artichokes this weekend, and it was a success!

Add these roasted artichokes to pasta and much more.

Ingredients

  • Frozen artichokes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and prepare a large sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Rinse artichokes, drain and pat dry.
  3. Toss them in a bowl with salt, pepper, and a little avocado oil (to handle the high heat or regular olive oil). I just use my oil sprayer from @evooilsprayer, which I love! ❤️
  4. Spread artichokes onto the prepared sheet pan and put them in oven to roast.
  5. Roast until a little charred (about 25 minutes depending on how dry they were to start).
