These Baked Yogurt Toasts are full of protein and healthy carbs filled with fiber to help regulate the fuel to your brain and help you focus and be more productive! 🧠

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 slices of whole grain bread (thicker is better)
  • 1 (5.3)-oz. container of plain Greek or Icelandic yogurt (thicker yogurt)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp raw honey (omit if using sweetened yogurt)
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Cinnamon as desired
  • Fruit for topping
  • Raw honey to drizzle

Instructions

  1. Mix the yogurt, egg, raw honey, almond extract and cinnamon together until smooth.
  2. Leaving the edges intact, press the bread down to make a depression to prevent the egg yogurt mixture from spilling.
  3. Dividing the custard mixture between the slices, add the mixture to the inside of the bread, leaving the edges plain. Top with fruit.
  4. Bake in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 5 to 9 minutes or in the oven at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Let cool, and enjoy!
