Make Your Employees Feel Valued - By Offering This Health Benefit

As employees consider jobs with other companies that offer flexibility and benefits, it is more important than ever to make sure that your employees feel valued.

Offering interactive wellness programming is an important way to help employees feel valued!

Making wellness programs available in your company can improve employee retention “providing further support for the correlation between personal health and job satisfaction.” (SHRM)

Also according to SHRM, only 58% of organizations offer wellness programs. If you’re one of the 42% of companies not offering wellness programming, now is the time. Do it before your employees make a job change to a company that does offer this benefit.

For those of you who make decisions about wellness programming at your company or organization, I invite you to think about your current programming:

  • Is content evidence-based, fresh and up-to-date?

  • Are your employees engaged and participating?

  • And most importantly, is it driving the benefits and results you had hoped to see?

If the answer to any of the above is “no,” it’s time to take a long, hard look at what isn’t working for you and your employees.

How about offering an engaging wellness program disguised as a group challenge to employees or even a small group as a test group? My 12 Fixes to Healthy Program provides engaging, interactive and evidence-based health and wellness benefits to your employees. The 12-week, dietitian-led program motivates employees to adopt the 12 most critical habits to improve their physical health, mental health and even productivity.

Together, employees start with just one habit (“Fix”) and add a new Fix one at a time over the 12-week period - taking slow, sustainable steps to improved health. Taking those steps toward the results that you, as their colleague and benefits administrator, need to see!

Are you interested in offering the 12 Fixes Program in your place of work? Or, are you a dietitian interested in leading 12 Fixes to Healthy Group Challenges within your practice? Message me to learn more!
