Don’t Delay! Set New Year’s Health & Wellness Intentions Now

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season this time of year – and that you and your colleagues, employees and clients are staying healthy. It’s certainly been a challenging cold and flu season out there.

If your employees and clients are aiming to make 2023 a healthier year than 2022 – whether by supporting their immune system, eating more nutritious foods, sleeping more soundly – then now is the time to put this plan into place. Don’t let them wait until December 31st to make a list of the things they want to do to make next year one that they live with energy, with more lean muscle and in general, feel better overall.

The time to set those intentions is right now.

Research shows that people who want to set intentions should start now, start simply and be specific. And for a new habit to last, that new habit should be in practice for approximately 65 days, according to a study in the European Journal of Social Psychology.

Your colleagues, employees and clients are motivated to modify behaviors and lifestyle choices for the better. They want to prevent short-term and chronic disease – everything from the flu to RSV to heart disease and cancer. And together we can encourage them to do it! My health and wellness programming is what they need to start taking small, sustainable, lasting steps toward improving their health.

Offering the 12 Fixes to Healthy Group Challenge in your organization is an incredibly motivating way for employees to adopt lasting health-promoting habits. The 12 Fixes program provides employees with tools to modify their lifestyle NOW – and to sustain positive changes for life.

Groups are forming now for January 2023! Offer a 12 Fixes to Healthy Challenge to employees when they are most motivated to participate and make health changes. Contact me to learn more about programming and how to get started – now.
